There’s also excerpts from 4 of the finalists final rehearsals and BIG ANNOUNCEMET (drum roll), starting tomorrow I will post part one of my sit down with Conductor James Conlon, it was a far reaching conversation….
Follow my tweets from the rehearsals!
In the final part of our conversation, Richard and I talk about the grueling schedule and how it does not even come close to the demands that full time solo artists deal with. Yeol Eum Son just tore the cover off Prokofiev 2 yesterday, here’s a preview of what we will get on the weekend (from Movement 3), her final recital is tonight!

Finally Nobuyuki Tsjujii and his deeply personal interpretation of Rachmaninov 2, here’s the end of the 1st movement, tonight he will perform Chopin 1 (I will post the same excerpt tomorrow as I did for Bozhanov above to compare)
