The absent blogger! Sorry. It’s been a busy couple of weeks.
I’m in the process of launching a new show and I need the advice of you radio professionals. This is not shameless promotion. I really want to know what sort of things you’d like, what will convince you to air the series, how you want the shows delivered, and all those little details.
We’ve talked before in this blog about a subsistence existence, pertaining to a common financial mindset at many stations in public radio. I’m pretty convinced that there also exists a similar mindset when it comes to excellence and excelling.
Gabe Di Maio, Program Director of WNED in Buffalo reports the passing of beloved broadcaster and friend to many of us, Peter Goldsmith. It is with great sadness that I must report that Peter Goldsmith, the first Program Director of Classical 94.5 WNED, passed away suddenly on Tuesday night.
