From Tom Taylor NOW: Student-run WVKC, Galesburg, Illinois (90.7) shifts to NPR-based news/talk and classical, in a deal between Knox College and the regional Tri-States Public Radio. The student-produced variety programming will be diverted to an HD2 channel and online, as of mid-September. In fact, the Galesburg Register-Mail says that Western Illinois University-based Tri-States Public Radio will buy and install the HD Radio and webcasting gear.
