New Classical Station on Monterey Peninsula

Saul Levine does it again!

There is life after KBOQ or KBACH. It’s KYZZ and it’s on the local FM dial, 97.9, as of 5 p.m. Friday… the station had been owned by Buckley Radio and was purchased by Saul Levine for $1.15 million.

The station is being operated by Levine’s Mt. Wilson FM Broadcasters of Los Angeles, which has been running classical station KMZT in Los Angeles for decades and which also provides classical programming on KMZT, or KMOZART, out of Big Sur.

Here’s the link.  I expect we’ll hear more shortly.
