New Classical Station in Southern Ontario

The charming town of Collingwood, on Lake Huron Georgian Bay in Ontario, Canada (three hours north of Buffalo) is gaining a classical station.  The announcement comes from Bayshore Broadcasting.

Most of the station’s programming will originate in Toronto with 24-hours a week [sic] of content directed specifically to listeners in Collingwood and surrounding area.

Here’s an update: The station will be managed by MZ Media Inc. which operates Classical 96.3 in Toronto and Classical 103.1 in Cobourg.  The company has two years to start the programming, but they don’t have a frequency yet.  Read more here.
