Happy Birthday to WCLV, WNMU, and WSCL

I think there are some 700 U.S. stations that play classical music.  Am I opening a can of worms by sending a birthday card to three of them?

Nov. 1, 2012 is the actual birthday of WCLV in Cleveland, long known as one of our legacy stations and as the distributor of many wonderful shows over the years, including Adventures in Good Music with Karl Haas that many of us grew up on.  Robert Conrad manages the station.

2012 is also the birthday of WNMU in Marquette, Michigan, where our colleague Stan Wright is the manager.

Both stations would love it if you would send a brief audio birthday greeting that they can air.

And celebrating its 25th anniversary this year is WSCL on the Delmarva Peninsula, the lower shore off Maryland’s mainland.  Congrats to the listeners from Chincoteague to Dover who are staunch supporters of this haven of music by the sea.  Chris Rank is the classical music director there.
