It was a happy ending, but several things intrigued me about this story.<!--more--><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-326\" src=\"http:\/\/www.insidethearts.com\/nondivisibeta\/files\/2009\/08\/Bubble1.jpeg\" alt=\"Bubble\" width=\"101\" height=\"120\" \/>According to the article, Mr. Hahn-Bin was exhausted from his bus\/taxi trip in after a concert in the Hamptons, and after arriving at his apartment at about 12.40 AM he took a shower. Then he called 311, after realizing he exited the cab having left both his credit card and violin. Now, I&#8217;ve come back from lots of late-night gigs, and the shower thing kind of struck me. I&#8217;m just sayin&#8217;. Also, that must be some serious Pressenda for $600K. Perhaps the most valuable one in the whole world.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, he got the fiddle back within an hour thanks to the miracle of GPS in (some) taxis. I guess that removes the only reason left to ask for one of those Soviet-toilet-paper taxi receipts you still get in NYC, and you can never read them anyway.
